You remember the ones, an old biscuit tin, a high school woodwork project or the classic pink velvet lined box with a slightly wonky ballerina who used to twirl to a tinkly version of something reminiscent of classical music. These kitschy memory boxes might have had their day, but collecting sentimental knickknacks and souvenirs from life’s milestones is something that will never go out of style. Especially today, in these strange times when a lot is happening, I like this idea of collecting what is important to you. The designers of the Time Capsule made a modern version of these memory boxes and photographed them beautifully.
